May 2013 horoscopes for Aquarius
May is going to be a good month, especially during the solar eclipse and new moon on the 9th. This will be a 5 star day to start on new projects. Another good couple of days are the 27th and 28th when Jupiter shares his lucky and prosperous energy with Mercury and Venus.
The first part of the month is dedicated to family and home matters, dear Aquarius, but after you support and settle family matters you are free to enjoy life in full. If your love life has been scant get ready for an exciting roller coaster moment.
We are going through Eclipses season! The first one occurred in April and now in May we have two more. There’s one series of Eclipses about to start in Taurus/Scorpio and another series is about to end in Sagittarius/Gemini.
The first Eclipse and new moon, on May 9th at 19º Taurus at 8:25 PM (Eastern Time) is a very exciting and friendly one. This Eclipse can open new doors and be an opportune time for planting the seeds of a new project.
This New moon focuses your attention on home. You may move to another location or you’re remodeling your house. This is also a great moment to buy a new property or to sell.
This is a refreshing energy for your family and if you have issues with your spouse, kids or parents, this is a good time to reset the boundaries and solve problems.
In May we will also see the biggest transit of the year, Uranus square Pluto is back in action on May 20th but it’s effect spreads 20 days before and after. It’s a time for revolution and resolution. We can expect for conflicts especially over religious matters. This energy demands a cleaning from inside out in order to allow the new to take place.
When Uranus, the planet of shock and abrupt changes meets Pluto, the underground planet, it looks like the world is ridding itself of the old, no matter how much it may cost us.
Uranus is your ruler planet dear Aquarius that’s why you are a visionary and you are ahead of the times, but also that’s why you are aloof sometimes in regards to affection and emotions. Pluto the planet of intensity is in a “not so smooth” aspect with Uranus which may compel you to make some changes in this matter. Do you even realize how you could hurt someone when you act cold and insensitively? This bumpy transit can remind you of that and may not be as gentle as I am trying to be. Hug, kiss, and hold hands with the ones you love. A simple gesture can make someone appreciate you more. This could be the lesson Uranus and Pluto may want all Aquarius to learn. After all this is not such a difficult lesson right?
This meet up could also be harsh on your finances, so review your investments, and make some wise moves, follow your intuition or consult a financial expert to help you out. Remember this is a long-range kind of transit ending in 2015, so for all these years your investments should be monitored more closely.
The second Eclipse (the last one in the family of Sagittarius and Gemini) will happen on May 25th at 12:10 AM at 03º Sagittarius.
Lunar Eclipses are always more dramatic than Solar Eclipses, because it’s a full moon. Don’t make any important decisions 7 days before the Eclipse because the 7 days after an eclipse can always bring a new element of surprise to the scene.
This second Eclipse will be a lot more fun, because it is happening in your area of fun, friends, and social life. Your planet Uranus will be totally involved in this Eclipse creating surprises in the best possible way. A friend can surprise you or bring some unexpected news.
However, Neptune can blur your eyes dear Aquarius in matters regarding money, so don’t make any unwise moves with your money, or investments based on “advice” a friend could give you. And don’t lend money to a friend at this time either.
On the 1st Mars and Saturn are in front of each other blending or pushing energies against each other. We feel like postponing our tasks because our energy to accomplish things is strapped down somehow, or we try hard but something prevents us or stops us from going ahead. Be patient and observe the events instead of acting out; you may just find a better way.
Mars in your area of family and domestic life confronting Saturn sounds like you may be very irritated with a loud or noisy situation like a home repair or redecoration in your home.
Today Mercury also moves to Taurus, slowing down decision making, because we need to take our time. We become more stubborn with our opinions.

Mercury in Cancer can influence businesses and markets in a very impactful way.
Now Mars can bring “spice” to your love life. First you fall in love with Venus and now with Mars, and then come the attraction, I mean serious sexual attraction.
However the other side of Mars is anger and excessive energy, so married couples make love or they may tend to be at war; when you dissipate the energy of the planet to its positive side you defuse the negative tendencies.
