2010 Planetary Trends. The Year of Big Events.

The next year, 2010, will be an unforgettable year for all of us. There will be a Lunar Eclipse on December 31st at 10º of Cancer few hours before the year of 2009 has ended. It will be a beautiful night, if the weather allows. Fire works will be under a beautiful full moon, in a water sign. So we will see much emotion in the air and tears.

Eclipses are wild cards… unpredictable.

At this Eclipse, the Sun will be in the sign of Capricorn, and very close to Pluto in Capricorn as well, along with Venus and Mercury, which will be retrograding… Mars will be in the fire sign of Leo, retrograding as well…

My first thought on this night is: Be careful around fire works! I see much fire in the air, but disorderly.

From 2010-2012
There will be eclipses in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity. This is the major polarity in the U.S. chart, and this eclipse season (about every nine years) is always associated with big events in the U.S.

In 2010
Uranus will move from the spiritual sign of Pisces (Please read my article about Uranus in Pisces) to the sign of innovation, Aries.

Time to start things in a new and different way.

The planet of innovation will occupy the sign of new beginners. Innovation will takes us into a brighter future and creation can wins over destruction.

We tend to start things the same way over and over, but with Uranus the planet of innovation in the sign of Aries, is time to be creative and innovative if not experimental.

Uranus rules energy and electricity among other things, so when in Aries, we are going to use other sources of energy, like hybrid and gasoline will be replaced by alternative energy systems or something we didn’t hear about YET.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, a cardinal sign, so we will have a powerful T-square where Pluto in Capricorn is the midpoint of an opposition between Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Aries, which culminates on Aug. 1, 2010.

Let’s be flexible and open for innovation. This planetary trend will lead us to new structures, in politics, monetary organization and POWER.

We may experience changes from spiritual transformation to global evolutional social changes.

Jupiter
will be transiting Pisces until June 2010 when then will enter the sign of Aries, along with Uranus. Look in your Natal Chart where Jupiter and Uranus will be transiting which is the area where they will be side-by-side, conjoining forces.

Jupiter is the planet of easy, expansion, abundance and progress.

Expect for unpredictable new directions in the subjects ruled by this house. This is very excited! And for the ones, who were born with Jupiter in Aries, expect for even more dramatic changes and good lucky.

When Jupiter enters Aries, we will experience new opportunities, start-ups, pioneering and ventures.

Jupiter rules fashion, so in Pisces the focus will be in shoes, and in Aries will be in the head, so we may see a coming back of the hat, as an important item in fashion.

Saturn,
the planet of test, maturity, discipline and responsibility will enter Libra, the most diplomatic and fair sigh of the zodiac. We can expect for a crises in the O.N.U., which will be necessary, followed by a process of maturity and fairness among countries.

Saturn is the planet of cause and effect, so we will suffer the consequences for opting for war to resolve world problems. Libra is the planet of peace… So may peace replace war… diplomacy wins over ignorance?

The signs most affected by Saturn in Libra, will be Libra, Gemini, Aries and Aquarius.

Pluto
in Capricorn since 2008 (please read my article about Pluto in Capricorn) until 2024, will be doing his job, which is reorganizing the structure of the govern and monetary system. Capitalism power will change hands or be excluded from our system.

Pluto will show his least friendly side, when squaring Saturn from November 2009 to August 2010, when we will face the most challenging moment of his passage through Capricorn.

Two destructive planets, in high range toward each other, is not a good sign. Let’s be flexible for changes, without discarding the moral values and the structures that has being leading the universe.

Let’s change what doesn’t work for us any more and keep what doesn’t need to be change.

Sign most affected: Scorpio, Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo and Libras.

If you have Capricorn ascending, personal evolution will be in your agenda this year. Fix yourself first before trying to fix everyone else.

Pluto will aspect Jupiter in a very dynamic way. This two planets playing a beautiful symphony together, can cancel the possible pessimistic atmosphere, adding a touch of enthusiasm and optimism in general.

Don’t schedule your wedding day from October 8 to December 10 2010. It’s a bad lucky period to get married. Venus, the planet that rules love, beauty and arts. will be retrograding.

Launching a new beauty product or an art exhibition also is not recommended with Venus retrograding.

Skip this period for beauty procedures like, plastic surgery or even dermatologic tune-ups.

Between 2010 and 2012, Eclipses in the Cancer-Capricorn polarity, along with Pluto in Capricorn will reinforce the destruction of old government rules, wrong use of power (Pluto) and issues related to health care (Cancer).

The world will not be the same after the year of 2012.

This period looks like the most volatile time of the year.

Uranus will enter Aries. Here we have innovative energy. Aries is the first sigh of the zodiac.

There will be an urge to birth new movements and new ideas will be irresistible. We should see new focus in investment. Countries like Brazil, India and China will experience a fast and unexpectedly growth. Power may change hands and third world countries come to shine.

Further more, Uranus has an incredibly long square (challenging aspect) with Pluto, from 2011 through 2015. This is the biggest transformation period of 21st century.

Jupiter enters Aries. This will be an explosion of happenings, excitements and new directions on our society. We should hear “breaking news” every time we turn the TV on.

Between June 3rd and 13th Jupiter and Uranus will be in a perfect conjunction at 0º of Aries, meaning, unexpectedly and extraordinary changes we never though would be possible.

I believe there will be discoveries that will change the world forever and for better. Last time we had this conjunction was in January 1928.

The discovery of penicillin and antibiotics has changed the world.

Jupiter will be opposing Saturn in August 2010, indicating social struggle between opposing forces.

Jupiter works with Saturn to grease the normal wheels of our society and expands whatever it touches. This occurs at the same time that Saturn and Pluto are squaring one another. Uranus and Jupiter (Aries) Saturn (Libra) and Pluto (Capricorn) so all the major planets, are now occupying the Cardinal Signs, representing a moment of cardinal climax that will lead to a big storm followed for a stronger structure.

Let’s hope we crack but don’t brake.

By 2012, we will indeed have a changed-and changing world. 
In October of 2012, Saturn enters the powerful death and rebirth sign of Scorpio, but that’s another story, we still have a long way.

As you can see, my dear readers, these enormous changes in our world are coming very soon.

It’s a time to prepare to participate positively in the dynamic process of evolution; spiritually, mentally, emotionally and even physically.

We are very fortunate to live in such an intense period of tremendous challenges and tremendous opportunities.

This is our chance to create a new and better world, where our children will live in the future.
